PCBA Services. Assembled Right. Tested Before It Leaves.

Surface mount, through-hole, prototype builds, and production runs — Mascot Nexgen delivers PCB assembly with the technical rigour your design demands and the turnaround your timeline requires.

What We Fabricate

Assembly Is Where Designs Either Work or Don't

A well-fabricated board means nothing if the assembly is wrong. Misplaced components, poor solder joints, incorrect orientation — assembly errors are the most common and most avoidable cause of board failures at bring-up.
Mascot Nexgen’s PCBA process is built around precision at every stage — from BOM verification and component kitting, through SMT placement and reflow, to post-assembly inspection and functional testing. We don’t ship boards that haven’t been checked.
Whether you’re building 5 prototype units to validate a design or scaling to a 1,000-unit production batch, the assembly standard doesn’t change. What changes is the quantity on the work order.

What We Assemble

SMT Assembly

Surface Mount. Placed with Precision.

Surface mount technology is the backbone of modern electronics assembly. Fine-pitch ICs, 0402 and 0201 passives, BGAs, QFNs, SOICs — our SMT line handles the component density and placement accuracy that today’s compact, high-performance designs require.
Every SMT run goes through solder paste inspection, automated placement, reflow profiling, and post-reflow AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) — so placement errors are caught at the line, not at bring-up.

Through-Hole Assembly

Through-Hole Done with the Same Rigour.

Through-hole components aren’t legacy — they’re often the right choice for high-current connectors, power terminals, mechanical switches, and any application where structural integrity under stress matters. Mascot Nexgen supports manual and selective through-hole assembly alongside SMT builds, so mixed-technology boards don’t require a second vendor.

Prototype Builds

First Builds That Give You Honest Answers.

A prototype assembly isn’t just about having boards to test — it’s about getting accurate, build-representative units that tell you the truth about your design before you commit to production quantities. Mascot Nexgen approaches prototype builds with the same process discipline as production runs — because shortcuts at the prototype stage create problems you discover too late.
We support low-quantity builds with full BOM kitting, component verification, and bring-up support. If something doesn’t pass inspection, we tell you what we found and why — not just that it failed.

Production Support

Scale Without Losing Control.

Scaling from prototype to production is where most hardware companies hit friction — new vendors, new processes, inconsistent output. Mascot Nexgen keeps the same team, the same process, and the same component sourcing partner from your first prototype through your first production batch.
When you’ve already built prototypes with us, your production run starts with a team that already understands your board, your BOM, and the quirks your design brought forward from development.

Functional Testing

Tested. Verified. Shipped with Confidence.

Assembly inspection tells you a board is built correctly. Functional testing tells you it actually works. Mascot Nexgen includes visual and electrical inspection as standard, with functional test support available for designs where end-to-end verification matters before a board ships.
For production runs, functional testing isn’t optional — it’s the checkpoint between assembly and delivery.

THE MASCOT NEXGEN PCBA PROCESS

How a Build Actually Happens

RFQ Submission

Upload your BOM, Gerber files, and assembly drawings. Tell us quantity, timeline, and any special requirements.

BOM Review & Component Verification

We verify every line item — part numbers, footprints, substitutes, lead time, and availability — before the build starts.

Component Kitting

Parts are sourced, received, and kitted against your BOM. Each component is verified against spec before it goes to the line.

Solder Paste & SMT Placement

Stencil-applied solder paste, SPI (Solder Paste Inspection), automated SMT placement to your centroid file.

Reflow & Through-Hole

Reflow oven with profiled temperature curve. Through-hole assembly follows for mixed-technology boards.

AOI & Visual Inspection

Automated Optical Inspection catches placement errors, solder bridges, missing components, and polarity issues.

Functional Testing

Power-on verification, IO checks, and any custom functional test procedures defined for your design.

Delivery & Documentation

Boards are packaged, labelled, and shipped with full build documentation — BOM used, components sourced, test results, and any deviations noted.

WHY PCBA WITH MASCOT NEXGEN

What Makes the Difference

BOM Ownership

We don’t just assemble what you send us. We review, verify, and manage your component supply — so shortages and substitutions are handled before they become a build delay.

Prototype and Production — Same Process

Your prototype isn’t assembled on a breadboard. It goes through the same SMT line, the same inspection, the same documentation as a production run.

AOI on Every SMT Build

Automated optical inspection is not an add-on — it’s standard. Every SMT assembly gets inspected before it leaves the line.

Mixed Technology — One Vendor

SMT and through-hole on the same board, assembled by the same team. No splitting your build between two suppliers and hoping the handoff works.

Full Traceability

Every production build ships with documentation — components used, sources, test results, deviations. You know exactly what’s in your board.

Direct Communication

You speak to the team building your boards — not a sales layer that relays messages to the floor. Questions get answered by people who have your design open in front of them.
